Juvenile Sentenced For Marijuana Possession
Juvenile Gets Probation Over Weed Charge
Juvenile has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge in Louisiana.
The St. Bernard Parish sheriff's office says the 34-year-old, whose real name is Terius Gray, entered the plea Thursday.
As previously reported, Juvenile and his producer Leroy Edwards were arrested on February 25 for possession of marijuana.
According to reports, police responded to a call from a neighbor who reported that they smelled marijuana smoke coming from the rappers home.
When police arrived at the house, according to reports, they were not only greeted by Juve's producer who had a small amount of marijuana “on his person,” but a published report police states that “the presence of marijuana was strong” enough that it gave “probable cause” to search the rapper's home.
Upon their search, police discovered a small amount of marijuana in a kitchen drawer, which Juvenile stated belonged to him.
Juvenile and Edwards were booked with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and both posted bond.
Juve's received a suspended sentence of three months in jail and must serve six months probation and pay a $250 fine and court costs.

According to published reports, the Ruff Ryder was pulled over minutes after being released from jail on Friday (August 13) after being stopped while driving a rented red Mercedes down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
According to published reports, X was pulled over for speeding when police discovered that X did not have a valid driver's license.
Although X will have to appear in court in the near future, he was not arrested but instead received a citation and police ordered a licensed passenger to drive the celebrity home.

Brother of Foxy Brown Arrested For Credit Card Fraud
The brother of rapper Foxy Brown was arrested last Sunday for attempting to steal designer clothes.
Gavin “Pretty Boy”Marchand was arrested in Manhattan for allegedly using a stolen credit card to purchase designer clothes from the Hermes Store on Madison Avenue.
He was in possession of a forged American Express card which he used to purchase almost $8,000 worth of clothes.
An accomplice of Marchand's allegedly attempted to use the card, but upon exiting the store, they were approached by police.
The two men and their driver, Derwin Benoit, ended up leading police on a 90-mph chase, before they finally pulled over and surrendered.
Marchand, older brother of Foxy Brown, also had a stint as her manager/spokesperson.
He was also the executive producer of her “Broken Silence” album.
When asked for a response regarding the incident involving her brother, Foxy was quoted as saying “I don't know anything about that”.

Fantasia Hospitalized For Overdose, Rep Issues Statement
HipHopWired has learned that American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino has been hospitalized for overdosing on medication.
A rep for Fantasia has confirmed that the North Carolina singer was indeed rushed to the hospital and has yet to release details.
News of her overdose come after reports that the wife of a man she's reportedly involved with named her in court documents for making a sex tape with her husband and “destroying” her marriage.

***Update*** A rep for Fantasia has released a statement on the singer's health and her relationship with Antwuan Cook, the married man who's wife has filed a lawsuit against her.
According to the rep the singer's injuries are not life threatening and she should be released soon.
The rep also says that Fantasia was lied to by Cook who told her that he was separated from his wife Paula.
"Fantasia has always been an open book. Honesty, self-respect, and personal responsibility are values she wears proudly.
Fantasia believed Mr. Cook when he told her he was not happy in his marriage and his heart was not in it. She believed him when he told her he and Mrs. Cook separated in the late summer of 2009. She believed Mr. Cook when he told her he lived elsewhere.
He even took her there. One of Mr. Cook's most redeeming qualities was his complete devotion to his children. Fantasia fell in love with Mr. Cook and believed that he loved her.
Fantasia and Mr. Cook dated on and off for about eleven months. The pressure of the constant media attention was hard on their relationship. Fantasia gave inconsistent interviews about the status of her relationship with Mr. Cook because sometimes they were on and sometimes they were off.
When they were on, they spent most of their time together when she was not traveling with work.
Fantasia read Mrs. Cook's Complaint against Mr. Cook for the first time yesterday. She knows some of the allegations in Mrs. Cook's complaint are totally false. There are others she strongly doubts. There is plenty she does not know.
Fantasia is heartbroken and is sorry for any pain she may have caused.
Yesterday, she was totally overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention. Last night, Fantasia was hospitalized. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid.
Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time. Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon. Fantasia is a fighter and a survivor. This is not the hardest thing Fantasia has endured.
Fantasia will be stronger, smarter, and better for it. Her work has always inspired her and served as a source of strength. Her new album, “Back To Me,” will be released on August 24th.

Nicki Minaj is continuing to prep for the November release of her Pink Friday album and speaking out in interviews on dream collaborations.
The Young Money Barbie sat down for an interview with Billboard to take questions from her loyal fans and to speak on her VMA nomination for “Best New Artist.”
When one of her Twitter followers asked Nicki who she would have alongside her in a super group, Nicki had some interesting answers.
According to Nicki, Hermione from the Harry Potter series would have to be involved because of her British accent along with Angelina Jolie and Snooki from the Jersey Shore who would serve as a backup dancer.
“You know in Boyz II Men there was that one dude that never sang, but just talked?...Hermione would do the talking stuff because she has the accent. Angelina Jolie, Snook—she would be like one of the backup dancers.”She also says that the legendary Lauryn Hill would be added because she “has to” along with “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” singer Cyndi Lauper because she “reminds her of herself.”
As previously reported, Irv Gotti compared Lauryn and Nicki in an interview saying that Nicki was just as talented.

Sources tell TMZ, Galanter — fresh off his Charlie Sheen victory — reached out to Vivid honcho Steve Hirsch with the million dollar deal. But, we’re told, at the time Galanter reached Hirsch … the DVDs had already shipped out.

Via Twitter, The Game started going in on UFC fighter turned actor Rampage Jackson for a reason that has yet to be disclosed.

In an interview with Allhiphop.com, The Game called out Rampage for beating him for the role of B.A. Baracus in the movie A-Team.
"He couldn't f*** with me. No disrespect to Rampage, but my dude Rashad Evans whupped that a**," Game said. "When he had that UFC fight against Rashad Evans and he lost, I felt like that was me [winning]. 'Don't you know n****? I play Mr. T (A-Team character 'B.A. Baracus') better than you! I pity the fool!' I went in there [the audition] and I killed the Mr. T role on my screen test."Rampage responded to the attack in an interview stating:
"If the Game would've got the role of B.A. Baracus, I would've never watched 'The A-Team.' I don't care if it turned into a great big franchise and they made a bunch of sequels, I would've been like 'Oh man, they got The Game?'" the UFC star stated.SMH, I don't know who to root for in this one, but it looks like things are about to get real interesting in California.
